Ingredients

– 4-6 mini cucumbers – 1 tablespoon dried dill – 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes – 1 teaspoon coarse salt – 1 tablespoon peppercorn medley – 3 garlic cloves or more! – 1/4 cup white vinegar – 2 bay leaves – 1 cup water

– Slice the cucumbers into spears, and chop the garlic. – Add the seasonings to the bottom of a mason jar. – Layer the quartered garlic pieces on top. – Stand the cucumber spears upright in the jar.  – Pour the white vinegar into the jar and then fill the remaining space in the jar with water.
