How hot is Hellboy hot sauce?

Out of the four sauces, the Right Hand of Doom is by far the spiciest. Hellfire Hot Sauce claims that the Right Hand of Doom Hellboy hot sauce tests at nearly 3,000,000 SHU, meaning it is incredibly spicy. This hot sauce was made for the spicy food enthusiast and is not suitable for general people looking to enhance their meal with a little zing.

The Hellboy Extreme hot sauce claims to be the hottest non-extract pepper on earth, containing up to 85% pepper mash.

Here’s a breakdown of the Scoville level of each of the Hellboy hot sauces:

Right Hand of Doom: 3,000,000 SHU

Hellboy Extreme: 1,750,000-2,000,000 SHU

Legendary AF: 250,000-1,000,000 SHU

Anung Un Rama: 250,000-1,000,000 SHU

What peppers does Hellboy hot sauce use?

The Right Hand of Doom Hellboy hot sauce uses two different extremely spicy peppers: red habanero and Trinidad scorpion pepper. But interestingly, the chili peppers aren’t the primary heat source in this hot sauce. While this hot sauce clocks in at 3 million SHU, the spicier of the two peppers it uses, the Trinidad scorpion, is only 1.2 million SHU.

So what makes this hot sauce so spicy? It also uses pepper extract at an astounding 6.66 million SHU, which raises the overall heat of the hot sauce to almost 3 million SHU.

The other hot sauces contain a variety of different hot peppers including the bhut jolokia, 7-pot primo pepper, and reaper peppers.

Hellboy hot sauce reviews:

Most people seem to really like Hellboy hot sauce, with the exception of people who didn’t expect it to be quite so hot. Many people report that it is by far the hottest hot sauce they have ever tried (even those who have spent years building their tolerance to spicy food), but that in addition to being extremely spicy it also tastes good. People report using only a drop or two of the hot sauce to season an entire meal, and still experiencing extreme heat to the point of sweating.
