WTF is MTN Dew® Baja Blast™ Hot Sauce?
MTN Dew® has a long history of launching fun novelty spicy foods and drinks, including a previous version of hot sauce and Flamin’ Hot Mountain Dew just last year. These products have proven to be highly viral and sought after, with people paying up to $300 for Mountain Dew Hot Sauce on the reseller market.
That brings us to today: MTN Dew® Baja Blast™. This new hot sauce plays with the beloved flavors of MTN Dew® Baja Blast™ soda — tropical lime — with classic hot sauce flavors, including tomatillo and peppers.
How spicy is it?
MTN Dew® did not announce the specific heat (Scoville rating) of their Baja Blast™ Hot Sauce, but here’s what we know. This hot sauce is made with habaneros, jalapeños, and other green chiles. With these peppers in mind, expect it to be noticeably spicy but not over the top.
Where can you buy Baja Blast™ Hot Sauce?
Like their previous hot sauce, Baja Blast™ Hot Sauce is not for sale! They are releasing only 750 bottles in a limited partnership with James “Hot Sauce Boss” Beck of the famous iBurn.
