Easy Cayenne Hot Sauce
This is an easy hot sauce made with cayenne peppers and vinegar. Be sure to store it in the refrigerator!
Ingredients
- 1.5 cup chopped cayenne peppers or approximately 10 oz
- .5 cup white wine vinegar
- 5 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 tsp salt to taste
Instructions
- Bring all of your ingredients to a simmer for 20 minutes
- Using a blender or food processor, liquify your hot sauce
- Strain the sauce if you prefer a smooth consistency!
Notes
Make this recipe your own! Many hot sauces use citruses like lemon or lime juice, or other spices and herbs. Feel free to add ingredients, or leave out the garlic to make the perfect sauce for you. You can also reduce the number of chili peppers to make it slightly less spicy, or if you want a thinner sauce.
